We are very excited for the launch of the Maui Chamber Orchestra. The orchestra has been forming for several years, but is now going to be accessible to us all.

On February 8th Andaz Wailea will be hosting a Fundraising Concert. We encourage all to come and support the Orchestra in Maui.

For this special evening the orchestra will perform the first movement of Mozart's Jupiter Symphony and chamber music will be played throughout the evening. There will be appetizers and wine served as well.

Highlights

Robert E. Wills is the musical director and conductor and has brought Maui's most qualified musicians together for several brilliant performances in recent years:
  • 2010 - Mozart Requiem
  • 2011 - Vivaldi: Concerto for two Trumpets 
    Mozart: Vesperae Solennes de Confessore
    J.S. Bach: Magnificat in D
  • 2012 - F. Joseph Haydn: The Creation
  • 2013 - Les Misérables

Please join and help celebrate the official beginning of the Maui Chamber Orchestra Saturday evening, February 8th. Located at the beautiful Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, all are welcome to come and enjoy wine and appetizers while listening to the first movement of Mozart's Jupiter Symphony and other great chamber music. This fundraising event will last 2 hours, extending from 6 PM to 8 PM.

The mission of the Maui Chamber Orchestra is: To be a sustainable musical organization that delivers the intimate experience of high caliber chamber orchestra performances to our diverse island community, inspiring and enriching the musical life of Maui County through: the integrity and excellence of its musicianship, the creative expression and vitality of its programming, the scope of its educational opportunities, and the cultivating and building of the loyalty of its audiences, musicians, and supporters. 

The orchestra, directed by the esteemed Robert E. Wills, contains 28 musicians and is in it's first year of public performance.
