Whether you are a novice, never tried scuba diving, or happen to be a seasoned diver, you can enjoy an awesome dive at any of several beaches of Lahaina. Extended Horizons offers day dives for all levels. Certified divers may also enjoy a night dive or a scooter dive. All tours meet at their beautiful facility in Lahaina where you'll meet your certified diving instructor, receive more details about your dive, and get fitted for your scuba gear. Introductory divers will also receive their lesson on the basics of scuba diving at that time. You will have an unforgettable time so don't forget your camera!

Activity Details
If you love being underwater, would like to do a dive while in Hawaii but just don't feel like riding on a boat for hours, we have some fun and exciting options for you! Lahaina boasts many dive sites, beautiful coral reefs, an abundance of tropical fish and marine life exclusive to the Hawaiian waters, and to top it off, the water temperature is perfect! You have a great chance to encounter our year-round residents the "honu" (green sea turtles) and even pods of dolphins who love to swim along the Maui shorelines. This is also a nice opportunity for those who are certified to introduce a friend to this awesome activity. Certified divers may request to dive with the introductory divers in order to share the experience.
 
Daytime Dives (daily at 8: am or 1:00 pm)
  • Introductory 1-Tank Dives: Your adventure will start at their shop where you'll meet your dive instructor, go through a simple lesson on the basics of scuba diving safely, and get fitted for your gear. Your instructor will give you directions to the dive site where you'll meet the group.
  • Certified Divers 1 or 2-tank Dives: Bring your certification cards, meet your scuba dive master, and get fitted for your gear. You'll get a briefing of the dive site and directions to its location.
  • Scooter Divers: Available for certified divers only, you'll get to cruise underwater on your own scooter (1-tank dive)

Additional Information

All 1-Tank dives (certified, intro or scooter, day or night) last approximately 2.5 - 3 hours from check-in at the store to the end of the dive.
2-Tank dives (certified divers only, day) last approximately 4.5 hours also from check-in time at the store to the end of the dive.

  • All introductory divers are required to complete a Discover Scuba Medical Form. We recommend clicking on the link, printing the form, answering the questions and having it ready at check-in. It's important you be very honest with your answers. Scuba diving is a fun activity but has its risks and people with certain medical conditions should not participate in it. Those who fail to review the medical form and are deemed to be unfit for the activity due to a medical condition will not be able to participate in the dive and will not receive any refunds or compensation. Should you have any questions once reading the form, please contact our concierges at 808-214-1013 and we'll be happy to make any necessary clarifications.
  • Certified divers must present a valid Scuba Dive Certification Card upon check-in.  
  • All participants must also complete an Activity Liability Waiver form.
  • 48-Hour cancellation policy strictly reinforced.
