Lanai and Maui Islands have some of the most beautiful coastlines and exquisite diving sites anywhere in the world. They are also some of the most popular destinations for certified scuba divers when visiting Hawaii. Extended Horizons has been running charters on Maui and Lanai for several years and feature top of the line equipment and a very professional and courteous crew who love what they do! There are more than 40 unique dive sites to choose from ranging from beautiful coral reefs, lava tubes, caves, shipwrecks and more! You'll enjoy a small group setting for a personal and enjoyable adventure featuring two dives, a comfortable ride, continental breakfast after the first dive, snacks & drinks.

Activity Details

This is the most popular charter offered by Extended Horizons who has been in business since 1983. Their staff is made of instructors and naturalists who will give you lots of exciting and interesting information about your dive sites. They will point out obvious creatures like turtles and eels, but also teach you about the marine life behavior patterns and some other fascinating facts.

Your crew is also eco-conscious. They will, without hesitation, prevent damage to corals or endangering marine life. They happen to be the only commercial marine tour boat on Maui running on 100% bio diesel which is made on Maui from recycled vegetable oils. It costs more but is a lot friendlier on the environment.

  • Charter departs from Mala Wharf, Lahaina (off of Front Street, by church with sign that says "Jesus Coming Soon"
  • You must bring your certification card in order to participate
  • No-gear rate includes tanks, weights, masks, fins & snorkel
  • Nitrox tanks available for $12.50 per tank. You must be nitrox (EAN) certified. To request it please add comment in comment field when ordering
  • Parking is free by the Mala Ramp area
