Activity Details
Your ride will begin when you meet your driver and guide at the designated location.  You will then ride comfortably in one of their 15-passenger vans to famous Kula Lodge for a brief restroom stop before heading up Maui's tallest mountain, to the elevation of 6,700 feet above sea level.  Your team of highly skilled guides will prepare you and your bike for an unforgettable ride through Mount Haleakala's switchbacks and hairpin turns, all the way down to sea level! 
Your ride will take you through Haleakala Ranch, through some incredible scenery and the upcountry town of Kula, before reaching the town of Makawao, located at 1,700 feet, where you will be treated to a delicious lunch at the Makawao Garden Cafe.  
After lunch you'll hop back on your bike for the final phase of your Maui downhill bike tour, an 8-mile coast where you will pass by fields of sugarcane and pineapple and famous Paia Town, before reaching the beach and ending your journey, at Baldwin Beach Park. While your crew gets the bikes back on the van you will get a chance to take more pictures or even take a dip in the ocean and cool off!  
This is the perfect biking tour of Maui for those who want to enjoy a fun and exciting adventure without going all the way up to the crater.

RESTRICTIONS
Riding Experience:  Must be a regular bike rider and able to shift gears, handle hardpin turns and pedal in order to keep the pace.
Minimum Age: 18 (14 for family private groups ONLY)
Maximum Weight: 260 lbs
Minimum Height: 4'11" - 5'
Footwear: Must wear sneakers (close toed shoes)

What to wear:
Close toed shoes, layers of clothing 
Bathing suit & towel, if you want to take a dip in the ocean
