Maui's Green Sea Turtles, also known as “Honu” in Hawaiian language, have a lifespan of approximately 60-70 years. Sea turtles can weigh up to 700 pounds, which makes them one of the largest turtles in the world.
Molokini offers in average 100 feet visibility, crystal clear waters and is considered one of the best snorkeling destinations on Maui, however, if snorkeling in Molokini happens to be your priority, we recommend you to choose one of our AM snorkeling tours, as in the afternoon Maui trade winds blow into the crater, causing choppy waters and not a place conducive for snorkeling (In average, about 20% of the time, this tour does go to the crater).
