Duration: 3.5 hours

The Setting:  Located at the Grand Wailea Resort & Spa, one of Maui's top luxury resorts, your luau will take place at one of the resort's ocean front lawns, where you will enjoy the most beautiful sunset views ever! You will be greeted with a fresh flower lei by a friendly wait-staff, who will take you to your table at the premium section of the luau grounds (rows 1 & 2, stage front & center);  you'll be in comfort in an uncrowded setting. You may walk up to any of the bars or get your drinks served to you at your table. Once settled in, you may roam around and visit with local Hawaiian artists showcasing their work, have a professional photographer take your picture at sunset (available for purchase after the show) and take in the awesome views of your special Maui evening.

​The Show: Your Polynesian review will take you back in time, when Hawaii was discovered by the mighty seafaring Polynesians.  The show features segments portraying the history and the legends of Hawaii, featured through the dance of hula, acrobatics and more!  Legends such as Pele, the goddess of fire, the mermaid of Maui, Kananaka and the love story legend of Naulu. The evening culminates with the exciting and 2-time World knife-fire dancer champion, who will take your breath away with his incredible abilities.

The Dinner:  A full buffet style dinner is served offering a variety of Hawaiian favorites, and with your VIP tickets, you will be the first ones invited to the buffet bar, which features Fresh Island Fish, Lau Lau, Imu Baked Kalua Pig, Grilled Teriyaki Steak, Shoyu Chicken, Hawaiian Sweet Potatoes with Coconut Milk and Honey, Hawaiian Fried Rice, Stir Fry Vegetables and Steamed White Rice, Poi and Taro Rolls. The always inspiring dessert buffet offers Haupia, Macadamia Nut Cake, Coconut Macaroons, Banana Cream Pie, Coconut Cream Cake, Chocolate Key Lime Cake, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Strawberry Cream Cake, Chocolate Brownies and Fresh Tropical Fruit Salad.

The Bar:  Your luau would not be complete without a full Open Bar (it means included - no extra cost!!) featuring sodas, juices, Hawaiian Punch, beer, wine, mixed drinks (rum, vodka, tequila, etc) blended drinks such as chi-chi's, pina-colada's, and of course, Hawaii's famous Mai-Tai's. Your wait-staff will take your drink orders or you may go to any of the open bars anytime if you just need a little "exercise"!

Your luau includes FREE VALET PARKING at the Grand Wailea Resort & Spa.  There are two lots available for your convenience; the closest to your luau being at the Group Lobby, 2nd entrance if you are coming from the north (Kihei side), and 1st for those coming from the south (Makena).  Please be sure to take your valet parking ticket to the luau check-in for validation.

Seating is first come, first served for both Standard and Premium sections.  Although the Grand Wailea Luau is a fairly small setting, we recommend those who are particular about where they want to sit to arrive as early as 4pm in order to choose a table at check-in.  The luau check-in staff will show you the seating chart and you'll get to choose your table (not the actual chairs); afterwords you may take a walk around the beautiful Grand Wailea Resort & Spa grounds or stop by the Molokini Bistro Restaurant, located beach/pool side and have a cocktail while you wait (discount beverage coupons available at the luau check-in desk). You may return to the luau grounds at 5pm and take your seats for the incredible evening ahead of you!
