The Old Lahaina offers a very unique seating system; your table or mat seating area will be assigned based on the date of your reservation, which means as soon as you contact us to book your luau, the better your seating will be. It's so simple and it's a "no brainer" - call us now and your seating will be better than if you call us tomorrow! Another feature unique to the Old Lahaina Luau is the two types of seats available nightly; upon ordering, you will get to choose between tables and chairs or traditional mat seats (cushions on the floor). Whether you have a strong back and can handle crossing your legs in a traditional south pacific way for the entire dinner and show, or prefer seating as you do at home, you will be in for a treat. All style tables hold up to eight guests.

Your evening starts out with a friendly Aloha opening ceremony where you will be greeted with a fresh flower lei, a tropical drink, and a personalized souvenir program; you will then be escorted to your pre-assigned seat while Hawaiian music is being performed by Na Leo Ho'oulu. You will have the opportunity to visit with local artists showcasing their beautiful art exclusive to the Old Lahaina guests. Professional photographers will also be roaming the premises to capture the evenings memories, with of course, no obligation to purchase.

Prior to your dinner you will enjoy informative presentations about "Laulima" (working together), learn about Hawaiian history and culture and have the opportunity to participate in the Imu cerimony, where you will get a close look of the underground oven that cooks the traditional Hawaiian dish, the Kalua Pig, and even witness the pulling of the delicious Kalua pig from the earth.

Throughout the evening, you will get to enjoy all sorts of mixed cocktails, wine, beer, as well as non-alcoholic tropical juices, sodas, etc, all featured on the open bar. At dinner time, you will get to pick from a lavish menu of authentic Hawaiian dishes, including assorted meats, salads, vegetable dishes, and lavish desserts – a buffet extravaganza that is guaranteed to have plenty of tasty items for even the pickiest eater.

Upon sunset, the main entertainment begins with a production that will tell you the story of the Hawaiians.
