Ka'anapali Beach Hotel, renown  for its Hawaiian  hospitality  invites you to experience their hookipa, (hospitality), as they host The Legends of  Kaanapali Luau every Monday evening in the heart of the hotel's Tiki Courtyard. You'll be greeted with a shell lei, warm smiles and a cold beverage by their friendly staff who will lead you to a scrumptious feast prepared by award-winning island-born chefs.
Feel free to browse the island created crafts sold by local artisans. Relax or walk around until you hear the sound of the conch shell, which will be your signal it's time to enter into the festive arena where only happy people are allowed!
E komo mai...sit and enjoy as there, you're their honored guest. The Hawaiian custom of hookipa means every effort is made to make you feel comfortable and important. There will be plenty of food and drink... Hawaiian style!!  You'll delight your taste buds with so many delicious entree and dessert choices of their bountiful menu, including their featured entree, the whole roasted pig that has been turning for hours  over  kiawe charcoal (Mesquite) on the rotisserie. You'll also have the chance to try Kaanapali Beach Hotel's famous made-in-house taro poi, made just the "right way".  
After dinner, the entertainment will begin as you are transported in time when the Tahitian migration brought the first migrants to Kaanapali.  You'll learn about Hawaii's history and legends told through enchanting dances, drumming and a fire walk.
