Activity Details

Your adventure begins in Maalaea as you board one of Pacific Whale Foundation's high tech, smooth-riding double deck catamarans which are equipped with restrooms, fresh water showers, and a fun waterslide! Your crew will treat you to a delicious tropical style continental breakfast as you ride the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean on your way to Molokini, a crescent-shaped islet, and renowned as one of the world's finest dive sites. While on your way, you may also participate in a fun orientation offered for those who have never snorkeled before or would like to get some refresher tips in order to get the most out of their snorkeling adventure.

Your crew will also distribute snorkeling gear and flotation devices. Once in Molokini, you'll have easy access in and out of the water and will get to see how clear the water really is; 100 to 150 feet visibility!

Just when you thought you had seen it all, you'll head to Turtle Town and swim around a beautiful reef where giant sea turtles live! By then, you'll have worked up an appetite so get ready for a delicious and hearty BBQ lunch!

It was well organized. Having only snorkeled once in my life previous to this, I felt safe and well cared for. Staff onboard were friendly and knowledgeable. They were excellent with the smaller children on board! There were plenty of staff in the after at each of the snorkeling sites, which was greatly reassuring! Food and drink were great!

My theee children and I had the best time with both of these activities. The water at Molokini was so clear and absolutely stunning. The Turtle beach part was my personal favorite. We got to see and swim with four turtles!!! They were bigger than me! The crew were super friendly and knowledgeable and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend this adventure

The booking agency, Maui Activities, was very good. The arrangements worked perfectly. The stop at Molokini was not what I expected. There were too many boats; we were confined to a small area for snorkeling. There was not much to see this day, possibly because of rough conditions. The staff was not as friendly as I would have expected. Some acted like it was just a job. There were too many people on the boat. The food was mediocre. I had my own equipment so cannot comment on the loaned equipment. Turtle town was much better; we were the only boat in the area. One of the staff got in and helped locate turtles. There were still too many people for my taste. I will choose another way to see these sights next time.
