TE AU MOANA
Due to Covid-19, Te Au Moana reserves the right to make any changes without notice. If you have been with us at this luau before, some things will be different. Please note the following changes:
- Each reservation will be on their own table in their “family bubble” and dinner will be served “family style”. Tables are assigned based on booking date with the best tables given to those booking earliest.
- No Crafters
- No interactive Pre Show stations
- No fresh flower lei; substitute to be provided subject to availability
- No guest on-stage participation
- All self-service food buffets are suspended
- No self-service for water; water pitchers will be available on each table

- Lead reservationist MUST provide a phone number capable of receiving text messages. Check in groups will be staggered in 10 minute intervals to avoid gathering beginning at 4:30pm.
- Each reservation must check in will all pax in their party at their designated time to have their temperatures taken and documented by hotel staff (if needed).
- Each reservation should include the names and cell numbers of all guests for contact tracing (if needed).
- Each reservation will be seated at its own assigned table.
- Table assignments are based on the date and time of booking, meaning earlier bookings are given tables with the best sight lines.
- Lead reservationist will be texted at least 48 hours before the event with table assignment and check in time.
- All payments must be completed via contactless technology prior to arriving at the luau (no payments will be accepted at the door).
- No walk-ups accepted. No reservation = no admittance.
- All guests will submit to temperature screening at check in. Individuals with temperatures at or over 100.4F (38C) will have a secondary screening. Those confirmed with temperatures at or above this threshold will be denied entry.
- Guests must wear a mask at ALL times while on site. Masked can only be removed when seated at their physically distanced table and consuming food or beverage.
- Individuals are not allowed to mingle with guests in other reservations.
- All guests will be required to maintain safe physical distancing and wear face coverings while entering or exiting the venue.
- Dinner will be served in three courses family style. Each course will be set on the table in its entirety. First course has five dishes, second course has six dishes, and the third course has 4 dishes.
- Bar service will remain the same – self-service walk up bar. If there is a line, guests must practice social distancing.
- The pig will continue to be cooked in the imu and displayed on stage, but will be processed or cut up in the hotel kitchen.
- Venue will have clearly designated entrance and exit paths with physical distancing signage and decals visible.
